The former Big Breakfast star and Strictly Come Dancing contestant has applied to the UK's Intellectual Property office to register "Kelly Brook" as a trademark. Kelly, 30 - who split from England rugby star Danny Cipriani this month - made the application under her birth name Kelly Ann Parsons.

Opponents of the application, which would prevent anyone else using the brand name, have three months to object. Kelly, the 2005 world's sexiest woman, plans to use her trademark on cosmetics, soaps, shampoo, hair dye, perfumery, jewellery, watches, clocks, handbags, purses, umbrellas and luggage.
