Kelly Brook has advanced something of a pining for brand new herbs around the same time as her pregnancy: The 31-year-old, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Thom Evans, was spotted shopping for parsley, coriander and chives at a garden centre this week. Pictures in the Daily Mail show her perusing the aisles, picking up pot after pot of fresh greens, presumably to plant in her garden at home.

She dressed casually for her horticultural shopping trip in a pair of lemon yellow maternity jeans, a checked shirt and a pair of trainers. Her growing baby bump could clearly be seen beneath her top as she made her way around the plant displays.

Kelly announced her pregnancy last month via her Twitter page. " Thom and I are happy to announce we are expecting a baby girl," she wrote. " We are delighted."Later, after receiving messages of congratulations from friends and fans, she added: " Thank you for all your lovely messages, I am so excited."
