Kelly Brook act in new movie as stronge role: She failed to impress film critics with her acting debut in Piranha 3D. But according to LOVE magazine, Kelly Brook is still worthy of a starring role. The British fashion magazine has cast the former glamour model in a new film, which will premiere during London Fashion Week later this month. Shot by Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø, Miss Brook, 31, is almost unrecognisable in A Kind of Blue, in a blonde wig and barely-there make-up.

The model wears Giorgio Armani clothing throughout the film, the plot of which is yet to be revealed. It was directed by LOVE editor-in-chief Katie Grand, for whom Miss Brook posed nude on the cover of the magazine's fourth issue back in August.
A preview of the film will go live on the magazine's website from tomorrow, with the actual film making its debut during London Fashion Week on February 21. It’s a year since we launched our first Love film, to the day,' Miss Grand told Fashionista.com, which published the stills this morning.
The site also showed some of the photographer's negatives, which offer a different creative take on the moody blue-tinted cinematography. The film marks a change in image for Miss Brook, who to date, has not had much impact on the high fashion scene.
Though the one-time Big Breakfast presenter continues to model, it is for mainstream brands such as Reebok and Ultimo. And her attempts to carve a career as an actress hit rocky ground after critics slated her starring performance in Piranha 3D.
Giles Deacon is the only high fashion designer to have harnessed Miss Brook's catwalk potential when he put her on the catwalk at his London Fashion Week show last season alongside WAG Abbey Clancey and Simon Le Bon's model daughter, Amber.
Miss Brook has spent the past two weeks in Los Angeles doing modelling jobs and attending auditions. She is hoping to build her Hollywood career on the back of the release of Piranha 3D last year, and is already rumoured to be starring alongside Michael Madsen in horror comedy Burn Off.
