Kelly Brook has topped a poll for the best pair of legs with a fifth of British women voting her into first place. The 32-year-old Playboy model loves keeping her sexy legs in shape by cycling and wears high heels to lengthen her hot assets. The model, who is currently dating former Scottish international rugby union player, Thomas Evans, adores showing off the results of her hard work in dresses slit to the thigh and frocks with sky-high hemlines, which women aspire for.
"Many customers who visit my salon are keen to emulate the celebrities they see on TV and in magazines," the Daily Star quoted Celebrity beauty expert Julie Coates as saying. "But a lot of them hate their own legs and aspire to get the toned, bronzed look. With the current trend for mini-skirts and hot- pants, there appears to be increasing pressure for women to get the perfect pins," she said.
Despite being only 5ft, Kylie Minogue, 43, came in second place in the poll with 16 percent of UK girls thinking she's got the best legs. Although the Aussie singer is so petite, her legs appear long due to her small frame. In third place was Cheryl Cole, who got 15 percent of the vote. The 28-year-old dances to keep her pins in perfect shape and is never without high heels, and has even designed her own range of shoes.
There was fierce competition for the rest of the top six places with Alesha Dixon, 33, Angelina Jolie, 36, and Elle Macpherson, 48, all getting 14 percent of the votes. The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge Dixon honed her pins after winning 'Strictly Come Dancing', and keeps them in perfect shape with energetic dance routines when she's on stage.
Jolie had sparked a "leg- bombing" craze for thrusting out legs after she awkwardly stuck her right one out in her split dress, during Oscars. And Aussie model Macpherson lives up to her nickname The Body, thanks to her long legs and 6ft frame. The survey of 1,500 women by the Emjoi Lady ROTO Shave found that skinny stars have fallen out of favour with Britishers. Only 6 percent of women admired Abbey Clancy's slender stems while just 7 percent voted for Victoria Beckham's legs.
Research has also revealed that 93 percent of women worry about their legs the most ahead of summer, more than any other part of their bodies. And nearly half of British men claim "good legs" are one of the top assets they look for in a woman. "Spending time pampering your legs and getting them ready to display for all the world to see can build your confidence up and make you feel better about yourself," Coates said. "Just simple steps like moisturising and de-fuzzing can make you feel instantly more glamorous," she added. (ANI)
